Church of St. Stanislaus Kostka in Radavnica – Roman Catholic auxiliary church belonging to the parish of St. Barbara in Radavnica.

It is a temple built of stone. It is currently closed.

It was originally an evangelical church, built in 1933 in neo-Romanesque style. Since 1946 it has served as an auxiliary church of the Radavnica parish and bears the invocation of St. Stanislaus Kostka.

Railroad bridge in Jastrow, commonly called the blasted bridge. It was built in 1914. The decommissioned railroad line Jastrowie – Węgierce ran over it. It was destroyed in 1945.

The bridge was destroyed during the battles for Jastrowie. On January 31, 1945, at 15:55, it was blown up by retreating troops of the 15th SS Grenadier Division. Due to the lack of sufficient cargo, the railroad bridge span only slipped from its abutments, while the nearby road bridge survived the blow-up attempt.

After the war, the railroad was dismantled, but due to technical problems, the dismantling of the bridge structure was abandoned and left on the damaged abutments.

5. Zagroda Krajeńska in Zlotow

The Krajeński Homestead in Zlotow is an important attraction along the city’s promenade. This small open-air museum features an 18th century homestead with a residential building and outbuildings. The homestead brings closer the traditional architecture of Krajna Zlotowska, which was characterized by the half-timbered (previously wooden) technique since the 18th century. The homesteads were in the shape of a quadrilateral, closed from the back with a barn. On one side was an outbuilding, which housed a stable, barn and pigsty. The residential building – a cottage, stood with its gable to the road.

The Jewish community had existed in Zlotow since the 16th century. In 1690 it obtained a concession from Gniezno Archbishop Stefan Wierzbowski, and in 1736 the first privilege from Augustine and Marcin Dzialynski. Few material traces of the Jewish community’s residence remain in today’s Zlotow. There is a building dating probably from the 17th century, which is believed to have been the oldest synagogue. The house of prayer, built in 1879, was blown up in 1938. The cemetery, located on the Jewish Hill, existed for almost 300 years and was destroyed after 1935.

Those craving active recreation are invited to Zlotow Promenade. On foot or by bicycle, strolling or light jogging, you can circle the Municipal Lake with an area of about 47 hectares.
Through the promenade we will reach the Fisherman’s Peninsula, a vast green and recreational area. Here we will find a plant labyrinth, information boards about the history of the city, the families that ruled Zlotow and archaeological discoveries related to the Zlotow castle destroyed by the Swedes.

The park-like forest complex is located in the southwestern part of Zlotow (in the Zlotow Forest District) between Zaleskie and Miejskie Lakes. The forest stand of Zwierzyniec consists mainly of deciduous trees – beeches and oaks, a remnant of the primeval forest that covered the area in the Middle Ages. The trees are 110-190 years old. Two centuries-old monuments of nature grow here – pedunculate oaks.
